Where can I get RuneWords?
RuneWords is available for iPhone on the App Store. Open the App Store page.
How do the two solve modes work?
Wheel mode lets you trace letters into words. Clues mode lets you choose an Across or Down entry and answer its clue. Both modes use the same crossword, and solved words stay in place when you switch.
How much is included?
The bundled campaign has 1,000 boards across 10 realms. Version 1.2 adds a daily catalog with 90 authored puzzles, one for each scheduled date.
When does the daily puzzle change?
In version 1.2, each daily puzzle is tied to a UTC date, so players share the same board. The next puzzle starts at midnight UTC; RuneWords shows that reset in your local time. If the authored schedule ends, the app says so instead of reusing an old campaign board as a new daily.
Can I replay a past daily?
Completed daily puzzles remain in the archive. You can replay them, but an archive replay does not grant the daily reward again.
Can I play offline?
The bundled campaign works offline after install. Version 1.2 also bundles the daily schedule for offline play. App Store purchases, ads, support, and other online services may need a connection.
How do hints work?
Rune hints can reveal a letter or a word. The game shows each hint's coin cost before you use it. Hints are free in friend puzzles.
Is RuneWords free?
RuneWords is free to download. Optional purchases include coin packs, The Starter Bundle, and Remove Ads. Ads may appear where allowed.
What can I restore?
In RuneWords 1.2, Restore Purchases can recover Remove Ads and recognize a Starter Bundle you already bought. It does not refill spent coins. Coin packs cannot be restored through Apple.
Do I need Game Center?
No. Game Center is optional and supports achievements. RuneWords does not currently offer leaderboards.
Is my progress saved?
Your campaign progress is saved on your device. RuneWords does not require an account, and cloud services are not a guaranteed way to move a save to another device or installation.
How do I open a friend puzzle?
Choose Friend Puzzle from the menu and enter the shared code, or open your friend's link. Friend puzzles require RuneWords 1.2 or later. After installing RuneWords, return to the link or enter the code in the app. Friend puzzles do not advance campaign progress or grant another daily reward.
