RuneWords Terms of Service

Overview

These terms govern your access to RuneWords, including gameplay, Game Center features, optional purchases, virtual currency, ads, rewarded offers, and online services connected to the app.

Eligibility and accounts

RuneWords is intended for players age 13 and older. If you are under 13, do not use RuneWords or submit information to support. If you are under the age of majority in your region, use RuneWords only with permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the device, Apple account, Game Center account, and purchase credentials used with RuneWords. Game Center features are optional and are also governed by Apple's terms.

Anonymous online services

RuneWords may create an anonymous Firebase identifier to support cloud progress and purchase delivery. This is not an email, password, or social sign-in and is not guaranteed to follow you to another device or a new installation. Keep local backups where available and contact support promptly if progress or a purchase appears missing.

Coins and virtual items

Coins, hints, boosters, streak rewards, and similar virtual items are limited, revocable licenses for use inside RuneWords. They have no cash value, are not property, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be corrected when a duplicate, refund, chargeback, exploit, or technical error affects the balance.

Purchases and restore

Apple processes all purchases under the App Store terms. Coin packs and The Starter Bundle are consumables, require successful transaction verification and delivery, and are not restored by Restore Purchases. Remove Ads is a non-consumable entitlement that can be restored for the purchasing Apple account or an eligible Family Sharing group. If Apple charged you but RuneWords did not deliver an item, use Apple's purchase tools and contact RuneWords support with the product and approximate purchase time; do not send full payment-card information. Refund and billing decisions are made by Apple.

Ads and rewarded offers

RuneWords free play may include banner, interstitial, and opt-in rewarded ads when the current mode, region, consent state, and entitlement allow them. Ad requests are configured for teen treatment with a T content cap and personalization disabled. Privacy choices can limit processing but do not remove placements unless Remove Ads is active. Rewarded offers never begin automatically and grant only the stated in-game reward after the ad provider reports successful completion.

Fair play and service changes

You may not exploit bugs, automate or tamper with gameplay, falsify device time to obtain rewards, interfere with ads or purchases, bypass paid features, attack online services, or use RuneWords unlawfully. We may correct progress or virtual balances, restrict online features, or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, fairness, legal compliance, or service integrity. The bundled campaign does not depend on remote level delivery, but online features may change or become unavailable.

Intellectual property and third parties

RuneWords and its original software, artwork, and branding are owned by Your Skin Matters, LLC or its licensors. Third-party fonts, word data, audio, Apple services, Google services, and Firebase services remain subject to their owners' terms. These terms do not grant permission to extract or redistribute game assets or third-party content. See the Third-Party Notices for the cleared Cinzel notice and current provenance status.

Apple terms

To the extent permitted by law, RuneWords is provided as available without a promise that every feature will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Your use through the App Store is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Support and legal contact

If you need help with a purchase, restore request, Game Center issue, or saved-progress question, use Apple's purchase tools first for billing or refund issues and then contact support@runewords.online for game-specific help. Support can explain game behavior and purchase status, but cannot override Apple billing decisions.
