RuneWords Privacy Choices

Manage optional website analytics, find the app's ad and analytics controls, or request help with saved data and deletion.

Website analytics

Optional PostHog and Ahrefs analytics is off by default. If you allow it, RuneWords may measure a random browser identifier, page path, referring origin, campaign parameters, basic browser or device context, and App Store call-to-action clicks. It is used to understand which pages and campaigns are useful, not to personalize advertising.

Checking your website analytics choice...

Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track always keeps optional website analytics off, even if you previously selected Allow. Ordinary security and delivery logs created by the web host, and font-delivery requests to Google Fonts, are not analytics and are not controlled by this setting.

Manage app analytics

Share Usage Analytics is off by default. In RuneWords, open Settings > Privacy & Data and use Share Usage Analytics to opt in or out. This is separate from the website choice on this page.

Manage app ad privacy choices

RuneWords requests non-personalized ads using teen treatment and a T content cap. Where Google's privacy options are required for your region, open Settings > Privacy & Data and choose Privacy Options to review or update the available consent choices. Declining tracking or analytics does not itself remove ad placements; Remove Ads suppresses them while its entitlement is active.

Request deletion or privacy help

Use Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete Cloud Data to delete the Firestore player data and anonymous Firebase account linked to the current installation when no purchase delivery is pending. If that cannot complete, email support@runewords.online with the request and relevant device or installation context.

On-device data

Cloud deletion does not delete gameplay saved locally on your device. Removing the app may remove local app storage, subject to iOS backups and restore behavior outside RuneWords' control.

Online services and Game Center

Apple controls App Store purchase history and Game Center account data. RuneWords cloud deletion does not remove those records, and later use of cloud-backed app features may create a new anonymous Firebase identifier.
